The npm package @hrmony/pladddform-core contains malicious code that, upon being imported, harvests AWS instance metadata including IAM credentials and Kubernetes secrets, then exfiltrates this sensitive information to an attacker-controlled server. The package does not provide any legitimate functionality and is designed solely for credential and secret theft. It also depends on another suspicious package from the same author scope. The package names and domains are crafted to appear legitimate, increasing the risk of inadvertent installation.
