The npm package @riskine-frontend/design-elements version 99.9.1 is a malicious dependency confusion package designed to impersonate an internal package. It is nearly empty but pulls an external tarball from a non-npm URL containing the literal 'depenconf' path, indicating dependency confusion attack tradecraft. Installing this package executes potentially malicious lifecycle scripts, compromising the host system. Any system with this package installed should be considered fully compromised, and all secrets and keys must be rotated.
