Malicious code in mddriver (npm) 0 The npm package 'mddriver' is a malicious typosquatting package that executes arbitrary JavaScript code fetched dynamically from an anonymous, mutable external source. It masquerades as a MongoDB connection driver but contains code that runs any JavaScript served by the attacker at runtime, leading to full system compromise. The affected versions are 1.8.1 through 1.8.6. Systems with this package installed should be considered fully compromised, and all secrets and keys must be rotated immediately.
