Malicious code in wordpad-text-ui (npm) 0 The npm package 'wordpad-text-ui' versions 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 contains malicious code that executes arbitrary code during installation. The postinstall script runs a node process that fetches and executes attacker-controlled payloads from an obfuscated URL. The package itself provides no legitimate functionality and is designed solely to deliver this remote code execution dropper. Installation of this package can lead to full system compromise.
