MAL-2026-6499: Malicious code in mongoose-json-format (npm) 0 The npm package mongoose-json-format version 3.0.1 contains malicious code that fetches attacker-controlled content from an anonymous mutable JSON paste host at import time. This behavior is unexpected for a package intended to format Mongoose JSON output. The package base64-decodes a hidden URL and retrieves data which is then processed by a dependency, enabling arbitrary attacker-controlled content execution during require().
