It contains a preinstall script that executes code upon installation, which sends an HTTPS request to a hardcoded external domain. This network beacon discloses the installer's public IP address and confirms code execution on the host. The package is a dependency-confusion payload designed to impersonate an internal or private package name, causing victim environments to inadvertently install and execute it.
