MAL-2026-6547: Malicious code in react-editable-calendar (npm) 0 The npm package 'react-editable-calendar' version 0.1.7 contains malicious code that executes arbitrary JavaScript during installation. Its preinstall script runs a file that decodes and evaluates remote JavaScript fetched from an attacker-controlled server, enabling arbitrary code execution on the installer's machine. The package mimics legitimate React calendar components but has empty author metadata and minimal code beyond the malicious payload.
