Malicious code in ts-bn-proto (npm) 0 The npm package ts-bn-proto version 5.8.1 contains malicious code embedding an infostealer payload executed at install time. This payload exfiltrates sensitive data including cryptocurrency wallet vaults, browser cookies, credentials, SSH keys, AWS credentials, developer secrets, and password manager databases to an attacker-controlled server. The package uses a postinstall hook to run this code and includes suspicious shell execution commands. Any system with this package installed should be considered fully compromised, and all secrets should be rotated from a different machine.
