The npm package 'db-convertor' contains malicious code that fetches and executes attacker-controlled JavaScript code from an anonymous mutable paste service at runtime. This behavior is hidden behind base64 encoding and is undocumented, increasing the risk of accidental installation by users mistyping the legitimate 'dx-db-connector' package name. Execution of the fetched code occurs without any validation, allowing arbitrary code execution within the Node.js process. Systems with this package installed should be considered fully compromised.
