MAL-2026-6984: Malicious code in @vite-ln/build-ts (npm) 0 The npm package @vite-ln/build-ts is a malicious clone of the legitimate vite package, containing obfuscated code that executes attacker-controlled payloads. When developers run the vite CLI from this package, it dynamically retrieves and executes code from blockchain RPC endpoints, allowing persistent remote code execution with full developer privileges. The package's presence indicates a full compromise of the affected system, and secrets stored on the machine should be rotated immediately. Removal of the package alone does not guarantee eradication of the malicious code or persistence mechanisms.
