MAL-2026-6986: Malicious code in @luminarycloudinternal/frodo (npm) 0 The npm package @luminarycloudinternal/frodo versions 9999.0.1 and 9999.0.2 contains malicious code that performs a dependency confusion attack by shadowing an internal package namespace. Upon installation, it executes a postinstall script that sends sensitive build system metadata, including repository and workflow identifiers, to an external third-party server. This exfiltration can lead to a full compromise of the affected system. Immediate removal of the package and rotation of all secrets and keys are strongly recommended.
