UBUNTU-CVE-2026-58251CVE-2026-58251 0 NATS Server versions prior to 2.14.0, 2.12.7, and 2.11.16 contain a vulnerability where an authenticated user with subscription deny permissions can bypass a plain subject deny rule by using a queue subscription. This occurs because queue-specific deny evaluation can override the plain subject deny result if the queue name itself is not denied. The issue is fixed in versions 2.14.0, 2.12.7, and 2.11.16. Several Ubuntu package versions of nats-server are affected. No known exploits in the wild have been reported.
