0 A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in fetchmail when built with NTLM support. A malicious mail server can send a crafted NTLM Type 2 challenge causing fetchmail to write beyond a fixed stack buffer. This may lead to remote code execution, authentication failure, or process termination. The flaw affects fetchmail versions from 5.0.8 through 6.6.6.
