Multiple security vulnerabilities were discovered in the Linux kernel affecting the Cryptographic API and SMB network file system subsystems. These issues could allow an attacker to compromise affected systems running certain versions of the linux-intel-iot-realtime and linux-realtime kernels. The vulnerabilities are addressed in updated kernel versions released by Ubuntu for their 22.04 LTS distribution.
