Description

BIND 9 has a vulnerability in its handling of secondary zones with TSIG-restricted transfers. Named may serve unauthorized zone data before the final TSIG signature message arrives during a multi-message TCP IXFR transfer. This allows an attacker without a valid TSIG signature to send unauthorized zone contents to a secondary server. The issue affects multiple BIND 9 versions and has been fixed in specific patched releases.
