Description
Multiple vulnerabilities were discovered in Bind9 affecting Ubuntu 26.10 and other Ubuntu LTS releases. These issues include improper handling of DNS messages, DNSSEC proofs, malformed zones, and signature verifications, which can lead to denial of service conditions, cache poisoning, unauthorized zone content injection, and in one case, potential arbitrary code execution. The vulnerabilities impact DNS resolution, DNSSEC validation, and zone transfer security. Fixes have been released for affected Ubuntu versions.
