Users should monitor the vendor's advisory for updates. Until a fix is released, avoid using the data-loading-text attribute or sanitize its content to prevent injection of malicious code. Implementing strict input validation and content security policies may reduce risk.
Description
A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in Bootstrap's button plugin related to the data-loading-text attribute. This flaw allows an attacker to inject malicious JavaScript code into the attribute, which executes when the button enters its loading state.
