Description
CVE-2025-52930 is a high-severity memory corruption vulnerability in the BMPv3 RLE decoding functionality of the SAIL Image Decoding Library version 0.9.8. It involves an integer overflow leading to a heap-based buffer overflow when processing specially crafted BMP files. Successful exploitation can result in remote code execution. The vulnerability requires an attacker to supply a malicious BMP file to trigger the flaw.
