AI-suggested
A fix is available in FreeRDP version 3.32.0 and later. Users should upgrade to version 3.32.0 or newer to resolve this insecure permission issue. Until upgraded, restrict local user access to the affected files and avoid using the vulnerable versions in multi-user environments.
Description
FreeRDP versions from 2.0.0 before 3.32.0 have a vulnerability in the winpr-makecert tool where private keys are created without proper owner-only file permissions. This allows local users on multi-user Unix systems to read these world-readable key files or access PFX files protected by a default hard-coded password, potentially leading to private key theft.
