Users should monitor the vendor's advisory channels for updates. Until a fix is released, consider disabling the GS JWT Authentication for WP REST API plugin or restricting access to the affected REST API routes to trusted users only.

Description

The GS JWT Authentication for WP REST API WordPress plugin versions up to 1.0.0 contains an SQL injection vulnerability due to improper sanitization or parameterization of request values on unauthenticated REST API routes. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to execute SQL injection attacks and potentially obtain an administrator session.
