Until a fix is available, restrict subscriber-level access carefully and monitor for suspicious activity related to ticket messages. Avoid opening tickets from untrusted users or sanitize inputs manually if possible.

Description

The JS Help Desk – AI-Powered Support & Ticketing System WordPress plugin up to version 5.0.2 contains a stored DOM-based cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. Authenticated users with subscriber-level access or higher can inject malicious scripts via the 'jsticket_message' parameter. The injected scripts execute when an administrator or agent views the affected ticket, triggered by the VenoBox component processing unsafe data. This vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping.
