Upgrade Highcharts to version 13.1.0 or later, where this prototype pollution vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigations are specified or required once the update is applied.

Description

Highcharts JS versions from 13.0.0 up to but not including 13.1.0 are affected by a prototype pollution vulnerability. This flaw allows malicious point option keys such as __proto__ and constructor to modify Object.prototype or the Object constructor during chart rendering. Such modifications can disrupt page rendering or alter application behavior without user interaction beyond rendering the chart. The issue is resolved in version 13.1.0.
