Description

CVE-2026-119301 is a vulnerability in the Apache Iceberg write component used by the AWS SDK for pandas (awswrangler). It involves improper neutralization of quoting syntax in SQL identifier generation, which could allow an authenticated user with permission to modify AWS Glue Data Catalog metadata to read tables accessible by a more privileged principal and write to those tables via crafted column names. The affected awswrangler versions are from 3.5.2 up to, but not including, 3.17.1.
