Description
CVE-2026-58924 is a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the EVS HAL's getStreamList() method on Google Android. An attacker can supply a crafted CameraDesc.metadata byte array that is parsed without validation, causing an out-of-bounds read at an attacker-controlled offset. This allows the attacker to exfiltrate data from the HAL process heap, potentially leaking sensitive information such as pointers and buffer handles. The vulnerability affects Android versions 14, 15, 16, 16-qpr2, and 17. No CVSS score or patch information is currently available.
