Description

FreeScout versions prior to 1.8.226 contain a SQL injection vulnerability in the polycast/receive endpoint. This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker with a guest session and valid CSRF token to submit specially crafted wildcard channel names, bypassing channel authorization checks. As a result, the attacker can retrieve notification events and associated conversation message content, identifiers, URLs, and notification HTML intended for other users. The issue is resolved in version 1.8.226.
