Users should restrict Contributor-level access until a fix is released. Monitor the vendor's channels for updates and apply patches promptly once available. Avoid using the vulnerable calendar Gutenberg block's 'theme' attribute with untrusted input.

Description

The Wp Parsidate plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 6.4 contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the calendar Gutenberg block's 'theme' attribute. This flaw arises from improper sanitization and escaping of user input, allowing authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. These scripts execute when any user views the affected page, potentially compromising user data or session integrity.
