AI-suggested

A security update is available and should be applied. Users should upgrade to .NET SDK 7.0.119 and .NET Runtime 7.0.19 or later as provided by Red Hat for their respective platforms. The vendor advisory provides detailed instructions for applying these updates. No additional mitigation steps are indicated beyond applying the official patches.

Description

.NET 7.0 contains security vulnerabilities that have been addressed in updated versions .NET SDK 7.0.119 and .NET Runtime 7.0.19. The fixes address a stack buffer overrun in Double Parse (CVE-2024-30045) and a denial of service in ASP.NET Core caused by a deadlock in Http2OutputProducer.Stop() (CVE-2024-30046). These updates are available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 and related distributions.
