Description

.NET 8.0 has two security vulnerabilities addressed in updated versions .NET SDK 8.0.105 and .NET Runtime 8.0.5. The first is a stack buffer overrun in Double Parse (CVE-2024-30045), and the second is a denial of service in ASP.NET Core caused by a deadlock in Http2OutputProducer.Stop() (CVE-2024-30046). These issues affect Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and related distributions. Red Hat has rated the update as Important and provides patches to remediate these vulnerabilities.
