AI-suggested

A security update fixing these vulnerabilities is available in OpenSSH version 9.9p1-14.el10_1.alma.1. Users and administrators should apply this update promptly to remediate the issues. Refer to the Red Hat advisory RHSA-2026:13380 and the update instructions at https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258 for detailed guidance.

Description

Multiple security vulnerabilities have been identified in OpenSSH, including a privilege escalation via the scp legacy protocol, security bypass through mishandling of authorized_keys principals, information disclosure from unintended cryptographic algorithm usage, low integrity impact from proxy-mode multiplexing sessions, and arbitrary command execution via shell metacharacters in usernames. These issues affect OpenSSH versions prior to 9.9p1-14.el10_1.alma.1 and have been addressed in this fixed release.
