Until a fix is available, limit access to the user quota rule creation functionality to trusted users and monitor for suspicious activity involving quota entries.
Description
IPFire versions prior to 2.29 (Core Update 198) have a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An authenticated attacker can inject arbitrary JavaScript code via the QUOTA_USERS parameter when creating a user quota rule. This injected script executes in the context of other users who view the affected quota entry in the web interface.
