Description

A denial of service vulnerability exists in JSONata versions prior to 2.2.0 where crafted inputs to the $toMillis function cause excessive backtracking in the ISO-8601 validation regex. This can lead to resource exhaustion in applications evaluating user-provided JSONata expressions. The issue is fixed in version 2.2.0 and later.
