Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-108747 describes an authorization bypass vulnerability in Lightdash up to version 2.556.0. Authenticated members of an organization can send DELETE requests to the personal-access-tokens endpoint with the UUID of another user's token, including tokens from other organizations. This allows unauthorized deletion of personal access tokens, potentially breaking API integrations that rely on those tokens.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability allows unauthorized revocation of personal access tokens by authenticated users, leading to denial of service for API integrations dependent on those tokens. There is no direct confidentiality impact, but integrity and availability are affected due to token deletion.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to authenticated users carefully and monitor API token usage to detect unusual deletions.
