AI-suggested

Upgrade to Pillow version 12.3.0 or later, where this issue is fixed. No other mitigations are indicated.

Description

Pillow versions prior to 12.3.0 contain a vulnerability in the FontFile.compile() function where per-glyph images are assembled into a combined bitmap without triggering a decompression bomb check. This flaw can cause excessive memory allocation during font conversion or saving. The issue is resolved in Pillow version 12.3.0.
