Upgrade Pillow to version 12.3.0 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation is indicated or required.
Description
Pillow versions prior to 12.3.0 contain a vulnerability in the PIL/PcfFontFile.py _load_bitmaps() function where glyph dimensions from the PCF METRICS section are used without proper decompression bomb checks. This allows crafted PCF font data to cause excessive memory allocation, potentially leading to denial of service. The issue is fixed in version 12.3.0.
