Upgrade python-pillow to version 13.0.0 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation or workaround is indicated. Users should apply the official patch promptly to prevent exploitation.

Description

A critical heap memory corruption vulnerability exists in the FlashPix JPEG-tile decoder of the python-pillow library prior to version 13.0.0. This flaw allows crafted OLE2 FlashPix files to cause buffer overflows during image decoding, potentially enabling arbitrary code execution. The issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
