Data::DisjointSet::Shared versions before 0.02 for Perl contain an out-of-bounds read and write vulnerability in the dsu_find function. This occurs because the parent index used in dsu_find is not validated against the node count, allowing memory corruption or process crashes. The vulnerability arises despite a header validation step that does not check array contents. A local attacker able to modify the backing file can exploit this to cause memory corruption or crashes.
Data::SpatialHash::Shared versions before 0.02 for Perl contain an out-of-bounds read and write vulnerability due to unvalidated indices in key functions. This allows a local peer with write access to the backing file to corrupt memory or crash the process by manipulating bucket chains and free lists. The vulnerability arises because the validator checks header scalars and region layout but does not validate array contents, leading to unsafe memory access during queries and inserts.
Heap type confusion and out-of-bounds read/write in the Apache Fory C++ implementation. When deserializing data in compatible mode, the field-skip paths do not correctly validate the declared field types against the actual data, so input with an inconsistent schema can cause type confusion and out-of-bounds memory access. Only the C++ implementation is affected; other language implementations of Apache Fory are not.
This issue affects Apache Fory C++: from 0.14.0 before 1.4.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.4.0, which fixes the issue.
Quicly is an IETF QUIC protocol implementation intended primarily for use within the H2O HTTP server. Prior to commit 8b178e6, Quicly is vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack through connection state corruption. In QUIC Invariants, the maximum length of a Connection ID is 255 bytes, while QUIC version 1 further restricts the maximum to 20 bytes. Quicly implements QUIC version 1 and therefore its CID buffers are limited to 20 bytes. However, to be able to respond to unknown versions of QUIC, its packet decoder accepts Connection IDs of up to 255 bytes. As its CID buffers are merely 20 bytes long, Quicly must reject QUIC version 1 packets with Connection IDs longer than that. The command line tool bundled with Quicly has had that check, however the library itself lacked such enforcement. As a consequence, when used by applications that lack their own enforcement, the connection state becoming inconsistent to buffer overrun. Fortunately, the overflow stops within the allocated chunk of memory, but nevertheless, the bug leads to assertion failures. This issue has been fixed by commit 8b178e6.
Out-of-bounds write vulnerability in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. BC-LTS bcprov-lts8on on ARM allows Overflow Buffers.
This vulnerability is associated with program files https://github.Com/bcgit/bc-lts-java/blob/main/native_c/arm/sha/shake.C, https://github.Com/bcgit/bc-lts-java/blob/main/native_c/arm/sha/sha3.C.
This issue affects BC-LTS: from 2.73.0 before 2.73.12.1.
Issue is only applicable if application involved is accepting memoable SHA3 / SHAKE states from potentially untrusted sources.
CVE-2026-61389 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in AutomationDirect's Productivity Suite. It allows a local attacker to cause kernel memory corruption by sending a crafted IOCTL request. This vulnerability can lead to privilege escalation or system instability. The vulnerability has a high severity with a CVSS score of 7. No affected versions or patch information are currently provided.
CVE-2026-60063 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in AutomationDirect's Productivity Suite. It allows a local attacker to cause kernel memory corruption by sending a specially crafted IOCTL request. This can lead to privilege escalation or system instability. The vulnerability has a high severity score of 7. No specific affected versions or patches have been disclosed yet.
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the illumos SCTP inbound path due to improper validation of address parameters in INIT ACK chunks during association lookup. This flaw allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to send a crafted SCTP INIT ACK packet that causes out-of-bounds memory access and kernel heap corruption, potentially leading to remote code execution. The vulnerability has been present since 2010 and affects illumos distributions prior to a specific commit fix. The CVSS 4.0 score is 9.1, indicating critical severity.
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Rockwell Automation Arena Simulation. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The ZDI has assigned a CVSS rating of 7.8. The following CVEs are assigned: CVE-2026-6071.
ncnn is a high-performance neural network inference framework optimized for the mobile platform. In commit e54f7b1f88434e1d844ea0551b880a1cfb079ce1 and earlier, ncnn allows an out-of-bounds heap write in ncnn::ParamDict::load_param() when Net::load_param() loads a malicious .param model file because the parsed parameter id is checked only against id >= NCNN_MAX_PARAM_COUNT, allowing a negative id to index before the params[NCNN_MAX_PARAM_COUNT] array. This vulnerability is fixed by commit 5a0288f255daa6c3294f77109f67718e434ec020.
CVE-2026-40953 is a heap overflow vulnerability in the certificate parsing function of Absolute Security's Secure Access client software versions prior to 14.55. This vulnerability requires local attacker access with administrator permissions and can be exploited to cause a denial of service condition on the affected client.
TDengine is an open source, time-series database optimized for Internet of Things devices. In 3.4.1.6 and earlier, source/libs/parser/src/parUtil.c trimString() checks space for only one byte before processing SQL string escape sequences \%, \_, or \x, allowing a one-byte out-of-bounds write to the stack buffer tmpTokenBuf that can cause denial of service and potentially remote code execution. This issue is fixed in version 3.4.1.14.
The Zephyr ADIN2111/ADIN1110 10BASE-T1S/T1L Ethernet driver (drivers/ethernet/eth_adin2111.c) reassembles received Ethernet frames in OPEN Alliance (OA) SPI mode by copying device-supplied 64-byte data chunks into a fixed static buffer ctx->buf of size CONFIG_ETH_ADIN2111_BUFFER_SIZE (default 1524 bytes). In eth_adin2111_oa_data_read(), each valid chunk was memcpy'd into ctx->buf[ctx->scur] and the write cursor scur advanced, with no check that scur + len stayed within the buffer. The number of chunks (up to 255, from the BUFSTS RCA field) and the per-chunk length are taken entirely from the frame data received off the wire; the cursor is only reset on a start-of-frame chunk. An attacker on the single-pair Ethernet segment can therefore send a frame whose reassembled size exceeds the configured buffer, causing the driver's RX offload thread to write attacker-controlled frame bytes past the end of the static buffer into adjacent driver/kernel memory (up to roughly 14.8 KB in the worst case). This is a remotely/adjacently reachable out-of-bounds write (CWE-787) that can corrupt memory and cause denial of service or potentially code execution. The defect was introduced when OA SPI support was added (commit 0ca8b0756b1) and shipped in releases v3.7.0 through v4.4.0. The fix adds a bounds check that drops the oversized frame and resets the cursor before the copy.
