CVE-2026-94450 is a high-severity vulnerability in AWS s2n-quic versions 1.88.0 and earlier. It involves improper validation of the Destination Connection ID length, which can allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause a denial of service by shutting down a server endpoint with a single crafted UDP datagram. This affects only server endpoints configured to send Retry packets. The issue is fixed in version 1.89.0 and later.
CVE-2026-75894 is a high-severity vulnerability in Osmocom's osmo-iuh component affecting versions from 0.1.0 up to but not including 1.8.0, and from 1.10.0 up to but not including 1.14.5. The issue is a reachable assertion failure in the ranap_handle_co_dt() function triggered by an arbitrarily sized NAS-PDU, which can cause the process to crash and result in a remote denial of service.
A flaw was found in `cockpit-ws`. This vulnerability allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending a specially crafted request. When the `WebService.UrlRoot` is configured and a request is made to the exact URL-root prefix without a trailing slash, `cockpit-ws` can terminate unexpectedly. This issue leads to the unavailability of the Cockpit web service.
libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. From 1.19.0 until 1.23.3, a crafted image item containing a clap property and an ispe width or height greater than INT32_MAX + 1 can reach crop calculations through heif_image_handle_get_image_tiling(). Box_clap::left_rounded() or Box_clap::top_rounded() passes the image dimension minus one to Fraction::Fraction(), whose uint32_t constructor uses an assertion as input validation, causing assert-enabled builds to abort. Release builds can instead compute invalid crop geometry, and the tiling API returns dimensions that the normal decode security limits reject. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.3.
CVE-2026-8674 is a reachable assertion vulnerability in the GNU C Library (glibc) affecting versions 2.26 through 2.44. It occurs when the DNS stub resolver initializes from an /etc/resolv.conf file or LOCALDOMAIN environment variable with a search list containing a domain roughly 200 characters or longer. This triggers an assertion failure that aborts the process. The flaw arises because the resolver truncates the search list into a fixed-size buffer but performs a consistency check against the wrong size, causing a valid truncated list to fail the assertion. Any process performing name resolution via glibc is affected, including long-running processes that reload /etc/resolv.conf after changes. Attackers on the local network may trigger this without privileges, leveraging DHCP or VPN server configurations that update search domains.
CVE-2026-80274 is a high-severity denial of service vulnerability in ISC BIND 9. It occurs when a BIND resolver processes a DNSSEC-signed authoritative zone and receives a specific sequence of DNS responses that trigger a reachable assertion failure, causing the program to exit unexpectedly. This affects multiple versions of BIND 9 from 9.11.0 through 9.21.25, including some service pack versions.
CVE-2026-76163 is a reachable assertion vulnerability in ISC BIND 9 that can cause the DNS server to crash unexpectedly. The issue occurs when BIND is configured without a global options block in the named.conf file and receives a DNS query of type TKEY. This leads to a denial of service due to program exit. The vulnerability has a high severity score of 7.5.
On affected platforms running Arista EOS with Open Shortest Path First version 3 (OSPFv3) configured, an unauthenticated attacker on the same OSPFv3 broadcast domain can send a specially crafted set of packets that can cause the Ospf3 agent to restart unexpectedly. The crash results in the loss of all OSPFv3 adjacencies on the affected device and may disrupt routing across the broader OSPF domain until the agent recovers.
This issue was reported externally by Dravanet Inc., and Arista is not aware of any malicious exploitation of this vulnerability in customer networks.
libp2p-rendezvous through 0.17.1 fails to validate registration TTL values in discovery responses, allowing attackers to trigger timer arithmetic overflow. A malicious rendezvous server can send a discovery response with an unbounded TTL value that causes the client node process to panic when computing the expiry timer.
A security issue in MongoDB Server allows an authenticated user with write privileges to trigger a persistent fatal assertion crash by sending specially crafted retryable write commands. The crash state is durably persisted, causing the server process to repeatedly crash on restart and potentially propagating to additional nodes in a sharded cluster. Manual intervention is required to restore service availability.
A security issue in the MongoDB Server's storage engine integration layer allows an authenticated user with collection creation privileges to cause a persistent denial of service. Insufficient validation of user-supplied storage configuration options permits values that, once persisted to durable metadata, trigger a fatal assertion failure when the metadata is subsequently read by diagnostic operations. The corrupted metadata persists across server restarts and is replicated to other cluster members, requiring manual operator intervention to restore service.
A security issue in MongoDB Server allows an unauthenticated network user to cause a denial of service on a specific type of replica set member. The server contains an assertion in its read concern processing logic that can be reached without authentication, and the assertion's assumptions about internal state do not hold for all member configurations, causing the server process to terminate.
An internal aggregation expression in MongoDB Server was incorrectly registered as accessible to any authenticated user rather than being restricted to internal cluster operations. By crafting a malformed index specification within this expression, an authenticated user with read-only privileges could trigger an assertion failure in the index key generation code path. In certain build configurations, this assertion failure results in termination of the mongod process, causing a denial of service to all connected clients.
The $regexFindAll expression can be used by an authenticated user who can run aggregation pipeline stages to crash a MongoDB server (mongod). Under certain specific conditions the regex match can start in the middle of a multi-code-unit character, triggering an assertion during query execution.
In Modem, there is a possible system crash due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to remote denial of service, if a UE has connected to a rogue base station controlled by the attacker, with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: MOLY00755024; Issue ID: MSV-7865.

CVE-2026-31911 is a medium severity vulnerability in libpcap's BPF interpreter where an invalid opcode in a crafted filter program causes the process to abort. This results in a reachable assertion that terminates the OS process running libpcap. No confidentiality or integrity impact is reported, only availability is affected.
CVE-2026-84971 is a high-severity vulnerability in MongoDB's libmongocrypt library, specifically a reachable assertion failure caused by improper handling of unexpected value sizes during decryption. An attacker who can supply a specially crafted encrypted value to an application using this library may cause the application to terminate unexpectedly.
In FIPS mode, Libreswan's add_decoded_cert() function calls CERT_ExtractPublicKey() and asserts that the result is not NULL. However, CERT_ExtractPublicKey() returns NULL when public key extraction fails, for example if the RSA exponent is set to 0. A remote attacker can send a malformed X.509 certificate in a CERT payload to trigger the assertion, causing the pluto daemon to abort and restart. Continued exploitation causes a denial of service. No remote code execution is possible. Both IKEv1 and IKEv2 are affected. The vulnerability is only exploitable when both the OS and libreswan are running in FIPS mode and at least one CA certificate is loaded. The CERT payload is processed before peer authentication, so no credentials are needed to exploit this. Configurations using only PreSharedKey (PSK) authentication with no CA certificates loaded in the NSS database are not vulnerable.
