An authenticated user with upload permission to a hosted repository can store content that causes arbitrary JavaScript to execute in the browser of any user who browses that repository directory via the HTML index page in Sonatype Nexus Repository versions 3.6.0 through versions before 3.92.0. This could allow the attacker to perform actions in the context of the victim's session.

CVE-2026-7468 is a medium severity vulnerability in 1024-lab smart-admin up to version 3.30.0 involving improper access controls in the /smart-admin-api/druid/index.html file of the Demo Site component. The vulnerability can be exploited remotely without authentication and has been publicly disclosed. The vendor has not yet responded or provided a fix. The CVSS 4.0 base score is 6.9, reflecting network attack vector and no required privileges or user interaction. No official patch or mitigation guidance is currently available.
A vulnerability was detected in JiZhiCMS up to 2.5.6. The impacted element is the function htmlspecialchars_decode of the file /index.php/admins/Sys/addcache.html. The manipulation of the argument sqls results in sql injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
X-Labs researchers discovered 10 verified Indirect Prompt Injection (IPI) payloads deployed across live web infrastructure. Unlike direct prompt injection where users send malicious input to AI models, IPI hides adversarial instructions inside ordinary web content. When AI agents crawl or summarize poisoned pages, they ingest and execute these instructions as legitimate commands. The discovered payloads span financial fraud, data destruction, API key exfiltration, and denial-of-service attacks. Attackers employ techniques including CSS invisibility, HTML comments, accessibility attribute abuse, meta namespace spoofing, and system prompt tag impersonation. The shared injection templates across multiple domains suggest organized tooling rather than isolated experimentation. Observed attack intents include unauthorized financial transactions, terminal command execution, content suppression, traffic hijacking, and sensitive information leakage, targeting AI systems that browse web pages, index content for RAG ...

ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. A regression introduced in commit 49d0bb7, included in versions 2.17.1 of the ApostropheCMS-maintained sanitize-html package bypasses allowedTags enforcement for text inside nonTextTagsArray elements (textarea and option). ApostropheCMS version 4.28.0 is affected through its dependency on the vulnerable sanitize-html version. The code at packages/sanitize-html/index.js:569-573 incorrectly assumes that htmlparser2 does not decode entities inside these elements and skips escaping, but htmlparser2 10.x does decode entities before passing text to the ontext callback. As a result, entity-encoded HTML is decoded by the parser and then written directly to the output as literal HTML characters, completely bypassing the allowedTags filter. An attacker can inject arbitrary tags including XSS payloads through any allowed option or textarea element using entity encoding. This affects non-default configurations where option or textarea are included in allowedTags, which is common in form builders and CMS platforms. This issue has been fixed in version 2.17.2 of sanitize-html and 4.29.0 of ApostropheCMS.
Apache Log4cxx's XMLLayout https://logging.apache.org/log4cxx/1.7.0/classlog4cxx_1_1xml_1_1XMLLayout.html , in versions before 1.7.0, fails to sanitize characters forbidden by the XML 1.0 specification https://www.w3.org/TR/xml/#charsets in log messages, NDC, and MDC property keys and values, producing invalid XML output. Conforming XML parsers must reject such documents with a fatal error, which may cause downstream log processing systems to drop or fail to index affected records.
An attacker who can influence logged data can exploit this to suppress individual log records, impairing audit trails and detection of malicious activity.
Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Log4cxx 1.7.0, which fixes this issue.
Apache Log4j's JsonTemplateLayout https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/json-template-layout.html , in versions up to and including 2.25.3, produces invalid JSON output when log events contain non-finite floating-point values (NaN, Infinity, or -Infinity), which are prohibited by RFC 8259. This may cause downstream log processing systems to reject or fail to index affected records.
An attacker can exploit this issue only if both of the following conditions are met:
* The application uses JsonTemplateLayout.
* The application logs a MapMessage, or logs an object directly (e.g., via Logger.info(Object), which wraps it in an ObjectMessage), where the message contains an attacker-controlled floating-point value.
Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Log4j JSON Template Layout 2.25.4, which corrects this issue.
Note: The fix released in version 2.25.4 did not cover all affected code paths. CVE-2026-49844 was assigned to the remaining issue, which concerns the MapMessage.asJson() serialization in Apache Log4j API and is fixed in versions 2.25.5 and 2.26.1.
The Log4j1XmlLayout from the Apache Log4j 1-to-Log4j 2 bridge fails to escape characters forbidden by the XML 1.0 standard, producing malformed XML output. Conforming XML parsers are required to reject documents containing such characters with a fatal error, which may cause downstream log processing systems to drop or fail to index affected records.
Two groups of users are affected:
* Those using Log4j1XmlLayout directly in a Log4j Core 2 configuration file.
* Those using the Log4j 1 configuration compatibility layer with org.apache.log4j.xml.XMLLayout specified as the layout class.
Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Log4j 1-to-Log4j 2 bridge version 2.25.4, which corrects this issue.
Note: The Apache Log4j 1-to-Log4j 2 bridge is deprecated and will not be present in Log4j 3. Users are encouraged to consult the Log4j 1 to Log4j 2 migration guide https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/migrate-from-log4j1.html , and specifically the section on eliminating reliance on the bridge.
Pi-hole Admin Interface is a web interface for managing Pi-hole, a network-level ad and internet tracker blocking application. From 6.0 to before 6.5, client hostnames and IP addresses from the FTL database are rendered into the DOM without escaping in network.js (Network page) and charts.js/index.js (Dashboard chart tooltips). While upstream validation in dnsmasq and FTL blocks HTML characters via normal DHCP/DNS paths, the web UI performs no output escaping — an inconsistency with other fields in the same file that are properly escaped. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.5.
