AstronRPA versions up to 1.1.6 have a vulnerability where the desktop client downloads code updates without verifying their integrity. 0 CVE-2026-108159 is a high-severity cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in iflytek astron-rpa desktop client versions up to 1.1.6. It occurs in the smart-component chat feature where unsanitized output from a large language model (LLM) is rendered via v-html, allowing remote attackers to execute OS commands. The attack involves embedding prompt-injection content that causes the model to emit HTML event handlers invoking an unrestricted IPC handler with shell metacharacters, leading to command execution as the desktop user.
