0 ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library. From 2.0.0 until 4.1.2, ExifReader.ReadValues64 trusts the 64-bit BigTIFF IFD entry count and iterates once per declared entry. When fewer than 20 bytes remain, ExifReader.ReadValue64 returns without advancing the stream or terminating the outer loop, so a small malformed BigTIFF can keep one decoder thread executing for an attacker-controlled duration. This report does not claim worker-pool exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.2. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/06/2026, 17:51:36 UTC Added: 10/06/2026, 18:04:02 UTC |
CVE-2026-106115 is a high-severity out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the SixLabors ImageSharp 2D graphics library. The flaw exists in the TIFF CCITT Group 4 encoder from versions 2.1.0 up to but not including 4.1.2. The encoder allocates insufficient buffer space for encoded row data, allowing unchecked writes beyond allocated memory. This can lead to memory corruption and process termination. The issue is fixed in version 4.1.2. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/06/2026, 17:50:15 UTC Added: 10/06/2026, 18:04:02 UTC |
