CVE-2026-18353: CWE-918 Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in Eclipse Foundation Eclipse CSI - PIACVE-2026-18353 0 CVE-2026-18353 is a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in Eclipse Foundation's Eclipse CSI - PIA component. The vulnerability arises from the `POST /v1/upload/sbom` endpoint, which accepts a Bearer JWT and checks its unverified `iss` claim against an issuer allowlist using Python's `urlparse`. Due to inconsistent parsing of backslash characters in URLs between `urlparse` and the HTTP client libraries (`requests` and `urllib3`), an attacker can craft a malicious issuer string that bypasses the allowlist check but causes the server to make requests to attacker-controlled hosts. This can lead to unauthorized internal or external network requests initiated by the server. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 07/30/2026, 07:23:04 UTC Added: 07/30/2026, 08:08:07 UTC |
