0 CVE-2026-21678 is a high-severity heap-buffer-overflow vulnerability in the InternationalColorConsortium's iccDEV library versions prior to 2.3.1.2. The flaw exists in the IccTagXml() function due to improper input validation, allowing a remote attacker to cause memory corruption by processing malicious ICC color profiles. Exploitation requires local access and user interaction but can lead to full confidentiality, integrity, and availability compromise. The vulnerability has been patched in version 2.3.1.2, and no known exploits are currently in the wild.
