CVE-2026-42449 is a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the czlonkowski n8n-mcp SDK versions 2.47.4 through 2.47.13. The vulnerability arises because the synchronous URL validator did not properly check IPv6 addresses, allowing IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses to bypass protections against accessing cloud metadata, localhost, and private IP ranges. An attacker able to control the n8nApiUrl parameter could cause the server to make HTTP requests to internal or cloud metadata endpoints and receive the response, including forwarding the n8nApiKey header to the attacker-controlled target. The issue is fixed in version 2.47.14. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 05/07/2026, 20:46:29 UTC Added: 05/07/2026, 21:06:24 UTC |
