CVE-2026-44713: CWE-78: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') in mcdope pam_usbCVE-2026-44713
0

CVE-2026-44713 is an OS command injection vulnerability in mcdope pam_usb versions prior to 0. 8. 7. The vulnerability arises because the software reads the user's $TMUX environment variable, splits it, and inserts the socket-path component directly into a shell command without proper sanitization. This allows an attacker with local privileges to inject arbitrary shell commands that run with root privileges in the PAM stack. The issue is fixed in version 0. 8. 7.
