CVE-2026-52845: CWE-287: Improper Authentication in caddyserver caddyCVE-2026-52845 0 CVE-2026-52845 is an improper authentication vulnerability in caddyserver caddy prior to version 2.11.4. The issue arises because the forward_auth copy_headers feature deletes client-supplied identity headers but does not account for underscore aliases that survive deletion and later normalize into the same PHP/FastCGI variables. This allows remote clients to inject or override trusted identity or group headers in PHP/FastCGI applications behind Caddy. The vulnerability is fixed in version 2.11.4.
