FileRise versions prior to 3.21.0 have an improper authentication vulnerability where disabled login methods (form login, basic auth, OIDC login) are enforced only on the client side but not consistently on the server side. This allows users with valid credentials for a disabled authentication method to bypass the administrator's login policy by directly calling the backend endpoint. Credential-free authentication is not possible. The issue is fixed in version 3.21.0. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/14/2026, 20:33:33 UTC Added: 10/14/2026, 20:49:11 UTC |
