0 File Viewer is a browser-native viewer for Office, PDF, CAD, archive, and other files in private and internal web applications. Prior to @file-viewer/doc 2.3.1 and msdoc-viewer 0.2.2, the legacy DOC renderer emitted document-controlled hyperlink targets into generated HTML after character escaping but without restricting URL schemes. A crafted legacy DOC file could place javascript:, vbscript:, data:, or another unsafe scheme in a rendered link, and script could execute in the embedding application's origin when a user clicked the link. The fix blocks external document links by default, allows only HTTP(S), mail, telephone, safe relative URLs, and internal bookmarks when external links are explicitly enabled, and applies mount-boundary sanitization as defense in depth. This issue is fixed in @file-viewer/doc 2.3.1 and msdoc-viewer 0.2.2. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 09/18/2026, 17:18:40 UTC Added: 09/18/2026, 17:32:13 UTC |
0 Trilium Notes is a cross-platform, hierarchical note taking application focused on building large personal knowledge bases. Prior to 0.103.0, the #iconClass label value is returned raw by getNoteIcon() and inserted without HTML attribute encoding into class attributes in apps/client/src/widgets/quick_search.ts and apps/client/src/services/note_autocomplete.ts, allowing a stored payload to execute automatically when a victim opens a new tab or uses Ctrl+J and, because Electron enables nodeIntegration and disables contextIsolation, run operating-system commands as the victim. This issue is fixed in version 0.103.0. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 08/18/2026, 15:13:16 UTC Added: 08/18/2026, 15:19:59 UTC |
0 An issue was discovered in Django 5.2 before 5.2.17 and 6.0 before 6.0.8. `django.contrib.admin.utils.display_for_field()` renders `URLField` values as clickable links in the admin without validating the URL. A value stored with an unsafe scheme is displayed as a link on changelist and read-only admin pages, which allows cross-site scripting against staff users who click the link. Exploitation requires the unsafe value to already be stored in the database. `URLField` validation through a `ModelForm` or the admin rejects unsafe schemes, so this affects applications that persist `URLField` data without running model validation, for example through direct queryset writes, deserialization, or bulk import of untrusted input. Django would like to thank Egor Saltykov for reporting this issue. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 08/18/2026, 10:04:42 UTC Added: 08/04/2026, 16:28:46 UTC |
0 Jodit Editor is a WYSIWYG editor with a built-in file browser & image editor. Prior to 4.12.31, Jodit's sanitizeHTMLElement method fails to use isDangerousUrl to normalize javascript: href values before checking the scheme, allowing case variants, control-byte prefixes, and embedded tabs or newlines to bypass filtering and execute attacker-controlled script when a victim clicks a stored link rendered by an application. This issue is fixed in version 4.12.31. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 07/31/2026, 19:08:03 UTC Added: 07/31/2026, 19:48:39 UTC |
0 Astro is a web framework for content-driven websites. In versions 3.10.0 through 7.0.3, when a transition:persist, transition:scope, or transition:persist-props directive is applied to a client-hydrated (client:*) component, Astro copied the directive value onto the rendered <astro-island> element without HTML-escaping it. If a developer reflects attacker-controlled input into one of these directives, an attacker can break out of the attribute and inject arbitrary HTML/JavaScript into the server-rendered output, resulting in reflected cross-site scripting (XSS). Exploitation requires the application developer to have written a non-idiomatic pattern — passing untrusted, request-derived input directly into a transition directive. Astro applications that do not route untrusted input into these directives are unaffected. This issue has been fixed in version 7.0.4. 0 Kirby is an open-source content management system. Prior to 4.9.4 and 5.4.4, Kirby sites using the writer field in any blueprint allowed a scripting link to be included as the target of a link or email link in writer mark components, making the target clickable by the user who entered it and enabling self cross-site scripting in the Panel. This issue is fixed in versions 4.9.4 and 5.4.4. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 07/09/2026, 18:48:50 UTC Added: 07/09/2026, 19:18:15 UTC |
0 Jodit Editor is a WYSIWYG editor with a built-in file browser & image editor. In versions prior to 4.12.28, the built-in clean-html sanitizer can be bypassed by a MathML/<style> carrier that hides a dangerous element from the sanitizer's element walk, so a no-interaction event handler survives into the editor value, potentially causing Mutation XSS. When an application supplies attacker-influenced HTML to the editor's value-set or insertion paths, the sanitized output still contains a live <img ... onload=...> (or another non-onerror handler such as onfocus). A consumer that renders that output (element.innerHTML = editor.value) executes the handler with no user interaction. This issue has been fixed in version 4.12.28. 0 Improper Neutralization of Script in Attributes in a Web Page vulnerability in pragdave earmark allows stored cross-site scripting via unescaped HTML attribute values. 'Elixir.Earmark.Transform':_make_att1/2 in lib/earmark/transform.ex splices attribute values verbatim between two literal " bytes: [" ", name, "=\"", value, "\""]. Text nodes are routed through the existing escape function which encodes " as ", but attribute values never visit that path. A markdown link whose URL or title contains a bare " closes the attribute early and lets the trailing bytes be parsed by the browser as fresh HTML attributes. For example, [click](http://example.com/?a=x" onerror="alert(1)) renders as <a href="http://example.com/?a=x" onerror="alert(1)">click</a>, executing arbitrary JavaScript in the victim's browser. The earmark library is no longer maintained and has been retired on Hex. No patched version will be released. All releases from 1.4.1 onward are affected, and users should migrate to a maintained Markdown library such as MDEx. This issue affects earmark from 1.4.1 onward. 0 CVAT is an open source interactive video and image annotation tool for computer vision. In versions 2.2.0 through 2.54.0, an attacker is able to execute arbitrary JavaScript in a victim user's CVAT UI session, provided that they are able to create a maliciously crafted label in a CVAT task or project, then get the victim user to either edit that label, or view a shape that refers to that label; and/or get the victim user to upload a maliciously crafted SVG image when configuring a skeleton. This gives the attacker temporary access to all CVAT resources that the victim user can access. Version 2.55.0 fixes the issue. Stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the LMT Dashboard of the Perx Customer Engagement & Loyalty Platform allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code in a victim's browser. The vulnerability is due to improper sanitization of SVG file uploads. An attacker can upload a malicious SVG file containing a script payload to a campaign. When another user views this image on the public LMT microsite, the script executes, which can lead to session hijacking, data theft, or other unauthorized actions. This issue affects Customer Engagement & Loyalty Platform before 4.617.4.
