A vulnerability in the EIGRP implementation of Cisco Secure Firewall ASA and Threat Defense Software allows an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause device reloads resulting in denial of service. The issue stems from improper resource management when processing EIGRP update messages, which can lead to a memory leak and subsequent device crash.
