Next.js: Unbounded Server Action payload in Edge runtime (CVE-2026-64646)CVE-2026-64646 0 Next.js applications using the App Router with at least one Server Action running in the Edge runtime are vulnerable to excessive memory consumption due to unbounded Server Action payloads. This can lead to resource exhaustion if large request bodies are processed. The vulnerability affects Next.js versions from 13.0.0 up to but not including 15.5.21, and from 16.0.0 up to but not including 16.2.11. No official patch is currently available. A recommended workaround is to limit the request body size to a maximum of 5 MiB at the hosting provider level.
