Gitea: Personal access token scope enforcement bypass on the repository home page (`GET /{owner}/{repo}`) discloses private repository contents (CVE-2026-58444)CVE-2026-58444 0 Gitea versions prior to 1.27.0 have a vulnerability where personal access tokens (PATs) or OAuth2 tokens without the required 'repository' scope can bypass token scope enforcement on the repository home page route (GET /{owner}/{repo}). This allows disclosure of private repository contents such as the rendered README, file tree, description, language statistics, license, and latest release information. Other repository content routes correctly enforce token scope restrictions, but the repository home page route lacks this check, resulting in unauthorized information disclosure.
